Cheap window blinds

Hello, We just entered into a new house and my window of the bedroom is the kind that opens by sliding to the right or left. Thus, there isn 't a space or a slit to the top where the blind are usually. Is there a way to put the blind on the window hanging above the window? If so, where can I get them and what kind?

I think it 's called the collection of wood, but I'm referring to the part of long wood on the bottom that? approximately 6 ft in length x 7 ft wide. Should the color of the blind window grilles to match the window trim whitw or the color of the wood that collects on the bottom? We had to cut the cables to draw from our window shades (blind favored by the blind for 3 days). The merger of the two ends back together is more difficult than you might anticipate.
